Tasha Revisited

By Cathy BriscoeAugust 2012

This shawl, inspired by Nancy Bush’s Truly Tasha shawl, uses short row shaping to create a more form fitting bat wing shape that gently sits on the shoulders.  The simple lace border is knitted on as you go rather than picking up stitches and knitting on after the fact.  The shawl can be knit in a variety of fibers and yarn weights.  A worsted weight will give you a large full size shawl,(red) while fingering weight yarn (orange) will give you a smaller scarf like shawl as pictured.
